In summary, some of my cases/legal matters have included:

  • Representation of the seller at the closing of a $6,000,000 apartment complex.
  • $1,500,000 jury verdict against trucking company in personal injury case (assisted as an associate in another firm).
  • Defended against a $1,400,000 franchise lawsuit (lawsuit dismissed immediately before trial).
  • $985,000 jury verdict in a franchise litigation lawsuit (included $385,000 in punitive damages. This was the largest verdict of the five similar lawsuits against the same restaurant franchisor).
  • Defended against a $300,000 plus construction lawsuit by a national homebuilder (lawsuit dismissed before trial).
  • Obtained $55,000 settlement offer in federal lawsuit for international freight damage case.
  • Several acquittals in felony criminal jury trials.
  • $210,000.00 settlement (the homebuilder repurchased the Forsyth County, GA home in a construction lawsuit).

  • As part of the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics’ preparation in 1995, wore badge indicating French translator and helped straighten out baggage problems, etc. for any country with French speaking Olympic delegates at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Greeted the Olympic Delegation from France at the airplane, and escorted them to baggage and transportation.
